The faith that God gave us when we got born again was a gift from Him. We received it without having to work for it; this faith gives us victory over the natural world we live in. As God’s children, we don’t need to beg for His blessings because we’ve already received them; we can now celebrate because of what’s already finished. Our salvation includes healing, deliverance, prosperity, peace, joy, wholeness, and everything else we need; faith is our positive response to what grace has done. Human effort has nothing to do with salvation, and we therefore can’t take any of the credit for it based on what we do. Regardless of what we struggle to believe, God’s perfect and complete belief remains unaffected and rock steady. As Christians, we’ll never wonder who we are when we let His faith define us.
