One Ministry, One Church, One Message Worldwide
The weekly meditation scripture and inspirational nugget are designed to encourage you in your walk with God, strengthen your faith and give you a specific scripture to meditate on all week long. To get the most out of these weekly scriptures, we encourage you to keep them before you every day and apply them to your life and circumstances. Declare them daily and stay focused on them until you experience true results.
Do you know what it means to really trust God? When we examine the word “trust,” it has to go beyond the simple cliché most people utter when they say they trust God. For many, this is a powerless word used religiously, but never demonstrated with action. As Believers, we must take the steps to ensure we are leaning on God and truly trusting in Him. I’m going to share seven steps for you to use to ensure that you are depending on God. These steps are not meant to become a religious practice or self-effort to bribe God into doing something for you. These steps will help you develop and show you where a course correction may be needed so that you stay in alignment with what God’s word says about trusting Him. The scriptures provided for you to meditate on will confirm these steps.
Lord, You are the most faithful being in existence. You are good to us, not because we’re good, but because You’re good. We put our trust in Your goodness, Your faithfulness, in who You are to us. You have already given Your life in death for us to live life everlasting and more abundantly than we can imagine. We honor You by trusting You and believing what Your word says. You will hold no good thing from us. You work all things for the good in our lives and we proclaim that we trust You. In our darkest hour, help us trust You. When we don’t see a way but know that You know the way, help us trust You. When opportunities look slim, help us trust You. When it seems like it’s not going to work in our favor, help us trust You. By trusting You, our every situation will turn around, and it will work for our good and our benefit. We will know that You are indeed God and that You are worthy to be praised and trusted. It is in Jesus’ name that we pray and believe, amen.
