We’ve all experienced the frustration of trying to complete something that we didn’t know was already finished, and not understanding why nothing was happening. Fortunately, we have the ability to get results. An understanding of grace allows us to see this God-given spiritual authority in a whole new light, so that we can stop laboring to make things happen that Jesus has already done, and simply believe that we’ve already received them. Grace is all about what Christ’s blood made available to us; the completion of His works came when He hung on the cross and declared, “It is finished” just before He died.

The finished works of Jesus give us the ability to get the results we want when it comes to healing, prosperity, financial stability, deliverance from bondage to bad habits and addictions, and all the other promises in the Bible. We do this by faith that we can command the manifestations of those works into our lives. Jesus is the vine from who we draw sustenance and power, and we are the branches. Without Him we can do nothing.

We have the very same power in us that raised Christ from the dead. Because of this, we can trust that the spiritual laws in force will work for us every time we invoke them. The law that governs healing reminds us that by His stripes we are healed; another law says that we can speak to the obstacles in our lives that seem like mountains, and they’ll be removed.

We will have what we say, because we have the authority to call those things which are not as though they were. What God did for us radically changes our lives and puts the world around us in a whole new perspective. The work is finished, and the power has been granted to us.

Prayer:

Lord, Your Son gave His life so that ours could be transformed. Because of what He did, we now have the power and authority back that was stripped from us in the garden of Eden. Thank You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
