One Ministry, One Church, One Message Worldwide
The weekly meditation scripture and inspirational nugget are designed to encourage you in your walk with God, strengthen your faith and give you a specific scripture to meditate on all week long. To get the most out of these weekly scriptures, we encourage you to keep them before you every day and apply them to your life and circumstances. Declare them daily and stay focused on them until you experience true results.
How do I know this? Well, I know based on what God’s word says. The King James version of Mark 11:24 says, Therefore I say unto you, What things soever [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and ye shall have them. Notice that the scripture says to believe that you receive when you pray and you shall have what you prayed for. It did not say to believe that you have received when you see it manifested. So, anything that you have asked God for in prayer, based on God’s word, you are to believe that you received it in prayer and you will have the manifestation of it in your life.
If this is true (and we know that it is because God does not lie and neither does his word) why are some believers not seeing the manifestation of what they have prayed for? If you apply what I am about to share with you, your prayer life will dramatically change and you will experience more results from praying than you may have ever experienced before. It is necessary to be highly developed in our faith, because faith is responsible for taking possession of what grace has made available. Whatever we could ever want or pray for in our life was reserved for us when Jesus shed His blood on the cross, and there is nothing we can do ourselves to get God to move on a particular prayer request. Why? Because He has already moved. Everything we have been praying about is already done—the issue is knowing what to do to see the manifestation of our prayers in our lives and the lives of others.
Child of God, we must be fully persuaded, this is how we see those manifestations. We must believe that at the moment of prayer, we’ve actually come in contact with what we are praying for. Not all prayer will be about you receiving a manifestation of some sort, but today we are specifically looking at prayers that we say to God because of desires that we have.
There are some specific verbal strategies to follow to be persuaded by God’s Word.
Jesus did four things to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil.
Take what has been shared with you today. Start right now, believing that you receive at the very moment that you pray and not a moment after. Apply the 4 verbal strategies the bible tells us that Jesus used and get ready for manifestation.
Prayer for Today
Father, thank you for the ability that every human being alive has to connect with you in prayer. Thank you for the finished works of Jesus, anything that we could ever ask you for is already done. We receive through our “praying” and “saying” and “believing” that which we have asked for. Thank you Lord, that even this prayer right now is taking us to the next level! It is in Jesus’ name that we pray.
Amen.
